SECOND ANNUALCRANBERRY CUP

Ryder Cup Format

September 23, 29 and 30, 2010

Tournament is limited to 60 golfers, Posting will be up in Mid August watch the board, Do not sign up unless you can commit the three days of play.

Tee Times will be between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM .

Cost of play will be $35, each player will receive a golf hat, prizes and on September 30^th a party will be held at the club.

The format will be:

September 23rd   Two man best ball
September 29th   Alternate shot
September 30th   Single matches

Each match won will be one point ties will be one half point.

If tournament is tied at the end the number one singles teams will play a sudden death playoff.

Teams will be picked from entries with a captain of each team. Sweeps players will be given first priority. Matches will be set up without stokes they will be based on handicaps.

To play you must be a member of Cranberry Valley and the CVMGA and have a handicap.

In case of rain that day’s play will be cancelled and no make up will be scheduled. If it happens on the last day the party will still be held.
